This elegant steakhouse offers six modern areas for couples to host their wedding events. It will take a couple of hours to go thru all of the courses.Eddie Merlot’s is a dining venue located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It’s not somewhere we will eat at every week, but it definitely has found a place on our top 5 monthly places to visit. Not as high as a couple in the area, but it is in the upper tier. This restaurant is on the higher side of prices. When it all came Back out, it was in a reusable shopping style bag. Not just bringing us containers to scrape our food into. It was prepared table side!!! What a treat! Since we couldn’t finish dinner, they took it back and boxed it up for us. It’s her favorite and we were celebrating her. After dinner, which we couldn’t finish, we had bananas foster. You could see some were regulars by the way they interacted with them. There were several hosts or managers strolling the restaurant tending to the customers. The smoked flavor it held was what you would expect from a place like this. The bacon topping for the potato was some of the best bacon I’ve had. The horseradish sauce for the asparagus was delicious! The baked potato was fluffy. The sides were big enough to share for sure. Hers was a tad under, but she was fine with the temperature of it. We hadn’t much finished with the shrimp and dinner was served. The wait time for the food wasn’t out of the ordinary at all. We chatted and enjoyed each other as we people watched. We chose loaded baked potato and tempura asparagus as sides. Hers was the bourbon ribeye from the regular menu. Mine was the Txuleta from the “Steaks Around the World” menu that they have until 11/21/21. It was perfect! Lightly battered, fried to perfection. We chose sweet and spicy shrimp for starters. We had a cocktail as Rob walked us thru the menu. They have a fantastic selection but we are bourbon drinkers. Our server, Rob, who also came highly recommended, greeted us with menus and a wine list. We had reservations and were seated as soon as we arrived. A friend frequents here regularly and said we wouldn’t be disappointed. It was a toss up between here and another higher priced steakhouse in Ashburn. Seriously, I highly recommend this cocktail next time you visit! It was a great evening in an inviting atmosphere with cozy chairs, and great company. Fresh fruit, appropriately strong, and with a sweet (but not overpoweringly so) taste. ![]() But seriously the best part for me was the White Berry Martini (or three) that I ordered. Both were divine! Aww didn't get any appetizers as we chose to just enjoy the Old Bay dusted crusty warm bread. I had the Mojo Shrimp and Scallops and my husband had the Sea Bass. Although we didn't get steak this time it was nice to learn they have their Wagyu selection back. Our waitress was a attentive and knowledgeable. ![]() But I get it, they want to present as upscale. I have to admit, the table setting was kind of insane. We had reservations and were quickly seated when we arrived 15 minutes early. It is within easy walking distance from the hotel we booked for the night (Tru by Hilton) but, even if we had driven, there was plenty of parking. We recently visited Eddie Merlot's for dinner and drinks as part of a friends birthday celebration at One Loudoun.
